Monthly birthstones

Birthstones have always been thought to have magical powers within them with such powers passed to wearer of the gem.

Many people develop a fondness for their own particular birthstone, whether it be a birthstone of the calendar or of the zodiac sign.

Some months of the year have two or three stones as birthstones.

It serves to make a person feel special and also protect them from evil.

NOVEMBER:  CITRINE, TOPAZ, SMOKY QUARTZ

DECEMBER:  BLUE TOPAZ OR TURQUOISE
